Does it Sound Good and Feel Good?

michael sgfg Very recently, an album was released by the pop-punk band 5 Seconds of Summer. It is their second album, and has sold out like crazy. The first thing they did was preview their single and EP She’s Kinda Hot. The boys had been talking about a new album for maybe six months, then they announced that it would be hitting stores on October 23, 2015.

In the gap between the announcement and the release, the four dorks decided to play around with the fans. They started saying things like, “If you preorder the album on iTunes, you’ll get two preview songs!” The previews were all over social media sites instantly.

The album originally came out on the 23rd, but my copy of it didn’t come in until the 27th. I have now learned not to preorder albums from Target.

First, I would like to congratulate 5 Seconds of Summer not only for their awesome album, but their awesome spelling mistake. Instead of saying Welcome to the New Broken Scene,” it said “Welome to the New Broken Scene.” Great revision to everyone who worked on the cover.

When I first listened to it, I was actually in tears. They have grown so much as a band, and that really hit home. I listened to the lyrics, and found myself lost in them. The line that hit me the most was from the last song on the album, the lyric they ended it with: “You know it’s gonna get better.” What? I’m not crying, my eyes are just sweating.

The sadness was ephemeral as I went through to listen once more. I started focusing on the overall sound, and I was extremely happy. After five hours of listening to the album, I was once again in love with the sound of music.

So, in conclusion, I would recommend this to anyone on this planet. It sounds good, feels good, tastes good, looks good, and overall is fantastic. Once you get a chance, buy Sounds Good Feels Good on iTunes.
